15 Year Reunion Plans

I know it seems like a ways off...but the 15 year reunion will sneak up on us quicker than the 10 year reunion did!

We are not planning an all-out celebration for our 15 year reunion as we did for our 10 year reunion but we would like to recognize the milestone with flair - even if it is just an organized outing at a local restaurant or bar. But don't worry - the 20 year reunion (how old will we be then?! yikes!) will be planned with the same pizzazz as the 10 year!

When the time for our 15 year reunion approaches, we would love your support or effort to help organize the small celebration. Please be sure to keep the lines of communication open with us so we can contact you for updates. We'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions!

What a Success!

Our 10-year reunion was a fabulous success! It was great seeing everyone and catching up. A bunch of pictures were taken throughout the evening and can be viewed via the Flickr photo sharing tool in the right navigation. Just click on the "More of Class of 1996 Photos" link to be taken to the complete collection.

If you have any you'd like to add, please send them to svhs1996@yahoo.com and we will be happy to include them.

And be sure to stay in touch with all Class of 1996 updates by continuing to check out our blog!

10 Year Class Reunion: Paying at the Door

Still on the fence about attending Friday night's festivities? Forgot to mail in your payment?

No worries!

We are welcoming payments at the door by way of check or cash and cost per person will still be $45.00. Please be aware that we will have limited cash on hand, so exact change would be greatly appreciated. If you are bringing a check along, please make it out to "Sun Valley Class of 1996."

The headcount has already exceeded 80 people in attendance - so this is an event you won't want to miss! See you there!

10 Year Class Reunion: Safe Travels

We foresee next Friday's reunion festivities to be a grand celebration, as we are already expecting close to 80 of your fellow '96 classmates to make an appearance! And we certainly hope and expect that everyone will take full advantage of the open bar!

So, in an effort to ensure that everyone gets home safely, we would like to encourage everyone to assign a designated driver to escort you home. If a designated driver is not an option, we hope you contact one of the local taxi companies to arrange a safe ride home - you can always pick up your car the next morning!

Here is a listing of taxi companies that serve the Boothwyn area:

10 Year Class Reunion: Dress Code

There have been many inquiries as to what the dress code will be for our upcoming 10-year reunion. Unfortunately there is no cut-and-dry answer to this question...but let us help steer you in the right direction:
  • Cocktail dresses and suits are not necessary. However, if you feel inclined to deck yourself out for the event, more power to ya.
  • T-shirts, ripped jeans, baseball hats, and sneakers are too casual
  • Khakis, nice jeans, and collared shirts would be suitable for the guys
  • Nice jeans, skirts, and casual dresses would be suitable for the gals

The Ballrooms at Boothwyn is a very nice establishment, where many weddings and formal events are held. I would dress as if you were going to dinner at a nice restaurant.

Hope that helps!
